Thiago Araújo holds a Doctoral Degree from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) Law School. He also holds a Master's Degree and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the same institution, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) joint degree in "Public-Private Partnerships and Concessions" from the São Paulo’s School of Sociology and Politics (FESPSP) and the London School of Economics (LSE). Moreover, he attended the "Infrastructure in a Market Economy" course, held at the Harvard Kennedy School, in May 2022.
Thiago works as a State Attorney of Rio de Janeiro since 2006. Currently, he serves as the chief legal counselor at two State Deparments – Infrastructure and Construction and Cities’ Development – and as the representative of the State Attorney’s Office of Rio de Janeiro (PGE/RJ) at the Court of Audit of the State of Rio de Janeiro (TCE/RJ).
Finally, Thiago is a partner at Bocater, Camargo, Costa e Silva e Rodrigues Law Firm and a Law Professor at Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV Direito Rio).
