Maurício Jayme e Silva

Maurício Jayme e Silva holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (2000) and a Master’s Degree in Administrative Law from Universidade de São Paulo (2011). Maurício also holds a LL.M. in Banking, Corporate & Finance Law from Fordham Law School (2014) and was a visiting scholar at Columbia Law School (2011). Maurício has over 10 years of national and international experience practicing corporate law focused on capital markets regulation, compliance and compliance e enforcement enforcement. Maurício was a foreign associate at the Corporate & Capital Markets’ practice group at McCormick & O’Brien, LLP, in New York and a legal manager at BSM Supervisão de Mercados – the self-regulatory organization of B3 S.A. – Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão – where he headed the regulatory, enforcement and compliance legal team.

As a former legal manager at BSM Supervisão de Mercados, Maurício has unique insight into the priorities and procedures of financial services regulators and SROs in Brazil, including CVM, Banco Central, ANBIMA, B3 – Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão and BSM Supervisão de Mercados.
