João Laudo de Camargo

Graduated in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro - PUC-Rio (1977). Master's degree in Comparative Law from George Washington University (1979).

He has more than 35 years' experience in corporate law, with solid experience in project finance and other capital market-related transactions.

He was a partner at the Laudo de Camargo Law Firm, Rio de Janeiro City Attorney, Director of the Securities and Exchange Commission - CVM, Legal Director of BNDES Participações S/A - BNDESPAR, General Coordinator of the IBGC Chapter in Rio de Janeiro, Member of the Boards of Directors of BNDES, BNDESPAR and FINAME and Member of the BNDES Social, Environmental and Climate Responsibility Committee.

He is currently a Senior Partner at Bocater, Camargo, Costa e Silva, Rodrigues Advogados and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC).

He lectures on Corporate Governance and is the author of several articles published in newspapers and specialized magazines. He teaches on the training courses promoted by the IBGC and is a member of the Brazilian Lawyers Institute.
