This week, on May 29, our partner Maria Isabel do Prado Bocater is taking part in the 2nd Brazilian Congress on Capital Market Law, promoted by the Institute of Capital Market Law – IDMCap, which is taking place at the Federal Justice Cultural Center in Rio de Janeiro.

The event will be attended by specialists who will debate topics such as securities transactions, stock exchanges and organized markets, agribusiness financing via the capital markets, investor protection, legal certainty, dispute resolution, the regulatory and self-regulatory structure of the capital markets and the sector’s changes and prospects.

Maria Isabel will be one of the speakers on the panel “Sanctioning Law – Liability of administrators in relation to infractions unrelated to their specific attributions”, alongside Gustavo Borba and Marcelo Adamek. The debate, which takes place at 5:30pm, is chaired by Judge Juan Vazquez (TJRJ).

Bocater Advogados is one of the sponsors of the Congress (https://lnkd.in/dPMWR9iJ), which also includes the participation of our partner Francisco da Costa e Silva in a panel on the following day debating the governance of mixed-capital companies and the capital market.
