On December 14, our lawyer Felipe Varela Mello took part in a chat with members of the Committee of Young Arbitrators (CJA) to discuss his recently released book "Dispute Boards - Means of Preventing and Resolving Disputes".

The event, which took place online, was mediated by Tainá Rodrigues, coordinator of the IAC's monthly meetings.

Felipe's book is the first in Brazil to comprehensively and in-depth explain the institute of dispute boards so that the method can develop and be used with greater legal certainty in Brazilian law. In the book, published by Quartier Latin, Felipe analyzes the origin of the method, its evolution, concept, characteristics, and compares it with other alternative dispute resolution methods, among other topics.
