The magazine Consultor Jurídico (ConJur) highlighted in a recent report the case in which the Federal Court of Accounts considered the financing granted by the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) for the acquisition of Swift Armour Argentina by JBS to be regular.
The unanimous decision completely cleared the bank’s directors of responsibility and rejected the claim for more than R$ 68 million. The ruling also concluded that there was no unlawful conduct on the part of BNDES or JBS.
