Our solicitor, Pedro Diniz da Silva Oliveira, has published an article on the Migalhas website about electronic contracts in pension funds.
In the article, Pedro analyses how closed supplementary pension schemes can use electronic contracts and digital tools – whilst ensuring legal certainty and focusing on the user experience – to modernise their relationship with members and beneficiaries and make their schemes more attractive.
In his view, “when implemented judiciously, the use of digital tools guided by good UX practices proves to be an appropriate way to strengthen the services and products offered by closed supplementary pension schemes, contributing to their sustainability, competitiveness and institutional credibility”.
