On November 7, our partner João Laudo de Camargo participated in the 1st Corporate Governance and Compliance Congress – Integrity and Corporate Governance, organized by OAB Niterói, in the entity’s auditorium.

João spoke on the topic “The importance of Corporate Governance and Compliance for the sustainability of organizations” alongside Fabio Medeiros, Vice President of Legal, Compliance, Corporate Governance, Comms, ESG, and Public Affairs at Americanas S.A.

The event brought together experts in the field of governance, who promoted a high-level technical debate on topics essential to the consolidation of a culture of integrity, ethics, and transparency.

Other topics discussed were innovations in Integrity programs implemented in the municipalities of Rio de Janeiro and Niterói and the strategic role of the Governance Officer in structuring efficient and sustainable management models.
