Our lawyer Ana Luiza Moerbeck has been accepted into the Doctorate in Regulatory Law program at FGV Direito Rio.

The program lasts four years, and the research question guiding Ana Luiza’s project is: “Is the TCU, through its deliberations (recommendations and determinations) in an expansionist context, unduly interfering in the governance of state-owned companies?”

Our lawyer’s proposal is to focus on empirical research to analyze the expansionist actions of the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU) in matters of state-owned enterprise governance based on Law No. 13,303/2016, which addresses two topics related to the activities of state-owned enterprises (corporate governance and bidding and contracting procedures), covering more than 10 years of case law from the Court of Auditors.
