Maria Isabel do Prado Bocater, Joao Laudo de Camargo, and Luiz Felipe Monteiro de Castro Souza Campos are co-authors of the article “Market mechanisms focused on sustainability: Socio-environmental Investment Funds and Blended Finance”, published in the book Investment Funds: CVM Resolution 175 and Other Topics – Vol. II, organised by Marina Copola and Lucas Hermeto.

In the text, the authors provide a historical context for the topic, present and discuss market mechanisms aimed at sustainability, as well as regulatory initiatives for sustainable development, self-regulation initiatives, and also address the BNDES’ experience in blended finance, among other topics.

The work, published by Editora Quartier Latin, seeks to contribute to the understanding of the meaning and scope of the new regulatory framework for investment funds in Brazil and is authored by several of the country’s leading experts on the subject.
