Matheus Corredato Rossi talks about the barriers faced by Credit Rights Investment Funds (FIDCs)

Valor Econômico spoke to our partner Matheus Corredato Rossi about the barriers that Credit Rights Investment Funds (FIDCs) still face in accessing retail investors.

According to the report, this type of fund, which was restricted to professional and qualified investors until 2023, is now open to the general public under CVM Resolution 175.

In his speech, Matheus pointed out that what weighs most heavily is the “strong competition” for good receivables, the requirement for structures with legal certainty and, above all, the low liquidity of FIDCs.
