Our partner Flavio Martins Rodrigues took part this week in the 20th IPEBLA Conference, which is being held in Dublin, Ireland.

Flavio took part in the panel discussion “Ideal level of regulation for pension funds”, which took place yesterday (19 May), alongside Stephanie Kalinowski, a Canadian lawyer, and Mark Grant, a professor at Durham University in the UK, during which the panellists gave a presentation on regulatory and supervisory models. In his speech, our partner presented the segment-based supervision model, which was highly praised by his colleagues in attendance.

The annual conference, organised by the International Pension & Employee Benefits Lawyers Association (IPEBLA), is one of the leading events in the global pension fund sector and brings together private lawyers and representatives from pension fund supervisory bodies from a wide range of countries.

Founded in 1987, IPEBLA is the only global forum dedicated to lawyers specialising in pension funds, employee benefits and executive remuneration. The association brings together professionals from the private sector, the public sector, academia and industry to share knowledge, analyse legal challenges and build lasting relationships.
